PREPARATION:-

Soak dhuli urad dal for  1 hour  in  water .

Peel onion, ginger and finely chop onion, ginger and green chillies.

METHODS:-

Boil  water in a vessel, add  chopped  ginger, green  chillies, salt  and  dal  and  cook  till  it  is  almost  to  tender . Then  strain  the  dal.

Put the dal in  the vessel. heat  the  ghee  in  it  add  chopped  onion , cumin  and  temper  the  dal . sprinkle  brown  onion , chat  masala  and  garam  masala  and  mix  well .

Now  seal  the  vessel  with dough  and  put  it  on  dum for  5 minutes .

PRESENTATION:-

Transfer dal  to  portion  bowl  and  garnish  with  coriander , brown  onion  and  ginger  juliennes .
